Before Eternity: The
One Who Dwells in Zion
by Sandielyn Taylor • El Go'El Ministry
Before Eternity invites you on a journey that will cause you to examine your present relationship with your Creator. It offers a spiritual telescope to look further, the courage to look back, and a path that leads into the depths of your innermost being.
The story becomes a mirror, revealing what we may have missed or forgotten along our journey of faith and walk with God. It awakens a thirst within us—a longing for the love that only our Heavenly Father can fill.
While this book may not answer every question or reveal the entire picture, you may find yourself relating to the journey as a fellow traveler in the story. In those moments when you feel as though you are losing your way, Before Eternity encourages you to once again hold tightly to the pierced hands of our Savior.
Above all, this story speaks of how dearly our Father loves us—that He not only gave His life for us, but has promised to return for the remnant of His Holy Kingdom when the great battle comes and before eternity.
Begin the journey and discover Before Eternity for yourself.

It is a blessing and an honor to have my personal testimony shared in Randy Kay’s book, Heaven Encounters: 140 Near-Death Experiences Revealing the Afterlife. Within its pages are stories from people of many different backgrounds whose experiences profoundly changed their understanding of God, eternity, and the spiritual realm.
My story began in the Philippines, where my childhood was marked by abandonment, abuse, fear, and spiritual darkness. After being abandoned by my mother and father at a young age, I grew up in one of the most dangerous areas of Manila. During those vulnerable years, I experienced terrifying spiritual encounters that I did not fully understand.
Yet even in the midst of suffering, God was reaching for me. As a young child, I was given a beautiful glimpse of Heaven where I saw what I understood to be the River of Life, reminding me of the words of Revelation 22:1:
“...a pure river of water of life, clear as crystal, proceeding out of the throne of God and of the Lamb.”
But the pain and spiritual battles of my childhood continued, and there came a time when I questioned where God was in the midst of everything I was enduring. Later, an invitation to become involved with a satanic group drew me into an even darker spiritual experience. I witnessed horrifying scenes, including people falling into a pit of fire, and found myself under intense demonic oppression.
In the midst of that darkness, when I desperately needed rescue, I cried out the name of Jesus.
As I called upon Him, I experienced being lifted upward while a demonic presence attempted to pull me down. Then a mighty angel intervened and rescued me from its grasp. What had seemed like a place of hopelessness became a powerful revelation that Jesus had not abandoned me.
My testimony is ultimately not a story about darkness—it is a story about the faithfulness, mercy, protection, and redeeming love of God in the midst of suffering. The Lord met a wounded and frightened little girl in places where she felt forgotten and showed her that darkness would not have the final word.
I pray that as you encounter my story in Heaven Encounters, you will be reminded that even in our darkest moments, Jesus is still able to reach us, rescue us, and redeem what has been broken.
